How many brand logos?. Great things have happened, and are still happening with this client's brand. After a number of years building several venue and service based businesses the client gave us an open enough brief for us to suggest a decisive move.
The issue as we saw it was a lack of consistency across the varied sub-brands of the client. Each was strong in it's own right, but achieved very little leverage from each other in building the brand presence overall. Our fix? To initially revise all logos in a complementary style, still allowing each it's own strengths, but definitely pulling the styles closer together. The acid test being that each logo could appear together and still 'work'.
A primary factor of the work was identifying brand colours, and considering various formats of each logo (landscape orientation/portrait, monotone, reversed, etc.)
A further consideration was ease of use with partner logos. e.g. Rotorua Museum.
At the end of the process we have a great result that provides a rock-solid keystone for all other projects. Client website(s) re-design is underway now.
